WORKSHOPS
We love teaching people how to make podcasts and we’ve provided training to a number of media outlets, organisations and companies. Our recommended 2 day syllabus is positioned to support aspirant podcasters with the skills to create and sustain unique content, coherent with their individual needs. The 2 day model can be adjusted according to your needs, get in touch if you/ your organisation is interested in doing a “Podcasting 101”. We’re happy to do group sessions, or one on ones. We don’t charge set rates as these differ according to the nature of the project and the needs of our clients and partners. We’ve trained a number of cool people and organisations including: New Frame, The Institute for Creative Arts.

We work with various companies and organisations to produce bespoke content that carries Sound Africa’s unique stamp. Get in touch if you’re interested in having a unique and high quality podcast produced for you or your brand or if you’re looking for a podcasting partner for a project or initiative.
RADIO
CINEMA
Listening to podcasts is fun, sharing them with others is even better. Sound Africa has pioneered the first set of “ radio cinema” events in the country. This basically means we get people together, listen to some content and have a chat about it afterwards. Radio Cinema’s are great in getting diverse groups of people together who are interested in discussing/ exploring

similar themes, they’re obviously fun for podcast nerds like us and they’re also great in getting people curious or new to podcasts to fall in love with the medium.
Get in touch if you’re interested in planning/ hosting a radio cinema event with us! We’ve done radio cinemas at many interesting spaces and places including: Bertha House – The Isivivani Centre, Community House, Kalk Bay Books, The Book Lounge, The Encounters Documentary Festivel, The City Bowl Market
