Mustapha Dumbuya
Mustapha Dumbuya is a Sierra Leonean journalist and media trainer. He is the Team Leader for Journalists for Human Rights, a Canadian International Media Development Organisation (JHR) in Kenya. Prior to joining JHR,
Mustapha worked for the BBC Media Action in Sierra Leone as a producer and radio mentor/trainer. Mustapha is a community radio enthusiast and has learned through his work in the field, the power of words to educate entire communities on their rights. He is the 2015-2016 Gordon N. Fisher/JHR Journalism fellow at Massey College at the University of Toronto. A journalism graduate from Fourah Bay College, the University of Sierra Leone. Mustapha is completing an MPhil in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa at the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria.
